The GP2/GP3 Thread

For the majority of last season, I suggested that Tom Dillmann deserves a decent seat in GP2. I'd like to think that I've been proved right to some degree as he's topped the first Jerez test for Hilmer Motorsports. "Teammate" Pal Varhaug, however, proved he was still as useless as his last attempt in GP2.

It also appears that F1Rejects favourite Ma Qing Hua might drive for Caterham next year as he's also at the Jerez test.

Ma was quite slow. I was surprised by the performance of Rene Binder. He is new to the series and Lazarus were usually at the back of the grid last year.

Formula Racing in general seems to have a difficult time at the moment, with Coloni, iSport and Ocean withdrawing from GP2.

If René Binder gets to Formula One, I'll eat my proverbial hat. Yet, should he make it, it would be one of the epicest(if that's a word) things that could happen rejects-wise.

Ma Qing Hua has got a contract for Caterham in GP2 for this year. And he's becoming the F1 team's reserve driver.

And that despite being second last in the tests.
